He is survived by: his wife Karen (Luebker); his former wife Shirley (Aaron); his daughter DeEtte Stump (Kevin); his sisters, DeAnne (Dillard Irby), Judy, Gretchen (Macklin) and Kathleen (Teegarden); his grandchildren, Rachel Major, William Major, Kelsey Kent (Stump), Regan Becker (Stump) and Derek Stump; and his great grandchildren, John Drue, Emma, Jack, Lyla Kent and Owen Becker.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka, 610 West Cruger Avenue, Eureka, IL 61530 in honor of Jo Major.
