He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Lou Neal of Sheriff's Posse; his wife Mary Thorndyke; and his parents, Ralph Thorndyke and Ethel Thorndyke. He is survived by: his children, Royce Zehr, Micki Presbrey, Edward Neal (Tonia), Craig Neal (Julie) and Pat Neal (Amy); and his sister Darlene "Sis" Maxwell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; a multitude of great-grandchildren.
