With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Eardley Murphy (Evanston, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Baker and Claude Baker; her husbands, Robert "Bob" Eardley, Jack Mulligan and Daniel Murphy; her brothers, John and George Baker; and her daughters, Catherine Eardley Foust and Cynthia Wade Pacholick.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth "Bette" Mueller (David); her grandchildren, Katherine Davis (Jason), Cynthia Foust, Brian Mueller (Devin), Caroline Hall (David), William Mueller (Matthew Oleszczuk) and Elizabeth Mueller; her great grandchildren, Ellie Powers (Jimmy), Jack, Charlotte and Ryan Davis; her grandchildren, Liam, Charlotte, Eloise Venner, Catherine, David, Daniel, George Hall, Lydia and Emme Mueller; her great great grandchild Sloane Powers; and her friends, Jack Mulligan and Kay Murphy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
