With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gabriela Botas (Evanston, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gabriela leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her daughter Corina Szabados; her sister Anda Ginsberg (Andrew); her mother Doina Misin; and her nephew Elias Ginsberg.
A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Evanston Lighthouse Beach (2611 Sheridan Rd, Evanston, IL 60201).
