He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Vroegh and Johanna Vroegh; and his sister Josein. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Willem and Peter; his grandchildren, Tucker, Ella, Lili, Guus and Sebastian; and his sister Willy.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John Newman Parish (1615 Lincoln St, Evanston, IL 60201).
