He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Joiner of Evanston, IL; his siblings, Rosie Mae Treadwell of Atlanta, GA, Valerie Harris (Edward) of Athens, GA, Brenda Joiner Samuels of Fairburn, GA, Carol Parker (William) of Detroit, MI, Elaine Wright of Rochester Hills, MI, Leon Neal (Kathy), Lee Neal (Vicky) of Southfield, MI and John Henry Johnson, Jr. (Sanae) of Jacksonville, FL; his goddaughter Tramell Carter Weeks (David) of Jackson, Mississippi; and his sisters-in-law, Harriet Jean Sims of Farmington Hill, MI and Margaret Elaine Jackson of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
