She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph L. Bernstein; her children, Laurie McGuinn and Michael Bernstein; her siblings, Sam Vignola (Claudia) and Angela Bilek (late Arthur); and her siblings-in-law, Pat Wells and Bonnie Youngerman (Bob).

She is survived by: her children, Joe (Meg), Mary Jo Wildman (Jan), Tom (Cindy) and Kathy Harris (Daniel); her grandchildren, Joe Jr. Bernstein (Jessica), Kate Lowe (Aron), Ben Wildman (Laura), Julie Huff (Daniel), Tom Bernstein Jr., Tori Bernstein, Declan Harris, Mairead Harris and Michael McGuinn; her great grandchildren, George Lowe, Jack Lowe, Samantha Bernstein, Mason Wildman and Spencer Wildman; her son-in-law Frank McGuinn (Lisa); and her siblings-in-law, Bob Bernstein, Sr. (Holly) and Mary Bernstein. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint John Henry Newman Parish-Saint Joan of Arc (3698 Lyons St, Evanston, IL 60203). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
