Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lisa Marie Dykstra of Evanston, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 55, on September 28, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Lisa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lisa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Ettore Ruffolo; her sister Adriana Ruffolo; and her father-in-law Ron Dykstra. She is survived by: her husband Joel Dykstra; her children, Olivia and Miles Dykstra; her mother Maria Ruffolo; her sister Amelia Ruffolo; and her mother-in-law Marla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donnellan Family Funeral Services (10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John Newman Parish (1615 Lincoln St, Evanston, IL 60201).
