He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Fragen and Ruth Fragen; and his granddaughter Melissa Anna Fragen. He is survived by: his wife Joan Arenson (Joani); his children, Daniel Scott Fragen (Sharon Cognetti), Kathleen Susan Fragen (Louis Weiss), Michael Phillip Fragen (Cheryl Birkett), Patricia Beth Fragen (Carlos Sandoval) and Tatjana Popovic; his grandchildren, Gina Picha (Deric), Danielle Elizabeth Fragen (Justin Hartman), Gabriel Edan Aharoni (Brianne), Sara Ashley Olson (Jack Olson), Shanna Alexa Fragen and Ari Michael Fragen; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Cort Picha, Nick, Blake, Brynn Olson and Addison Aharoni.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beth Emet Synagogue (1224 Dempster St, Evanston, IL 60202).
