It is with sadness that the passing of Stephen Daniel O'Sullivan of Evanston, Illinois is shared. Stephen, born on April 19, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred O'Sullivan and Millicent O'Sullivan; and his siblings-in-law, Clair, Mark Lambert, Patrick Lambert (Jodi Dominic) and Nancy Lambert (David McQuillen).
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Michael and Jack; his siblings, Will O'Sullivan (Martina), Mary Ellen O'Sullivan (Mark Smith), Roger O'Sullivan (late Leslie) and Dan O'Sullivan; and his nieces and nephews, Jenny Arranaga (Chris), Meredith O'Sullivan Wasson (John Keith), Ellen Bradt (Peter), Kate Messerli (Jake), Carey O'Sullivan, Emily Smith (Jon Eng), Connor Smith (Kaeli Harney), Joe Lambert (Kristin), Dan Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Alison, Colleen Lambert, Kevin McQuillen (Stella Porter) and Eleanor McQuillen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Donnellan Family Funeral Services (10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A prayer will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an arts scholarship fund being established for Steve's son, Jack, to support his future needs.
