He was predeceased by : his grandchildren, Noble and Winter; and his parents, Ronald Gilford and Adele Gilford. He is survived by : his wife Anne Christine Johnson Gilford; his children, Sarah Chang (Ernest), Zachary Gilford (Kiele) and Eliza Gilford Fox (Stephen); his grandchildren, Cole, Tesla, Zeppelin, Revel and Tanner; and his sisters, Lori Kaplan (Marc Cohen) and Cathy Colgan (Robert).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Metropolitan Family Services or Center for Conflict Resolution.
