She was loved and cherished by many people including : her siblings, Satonia Rogers Baker (Fred), Wendal Rogers, James Rogers (Patricia Patridge), Buddy Rogers (Marilyn Huffman) and W. Don Rogers (Janet Snarr); her daughter Carol Wynne Bailey Sweig (Michael); and her mother Esther. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Her passion for jazz caught the attention of The Wisconsin Foundation for the Arts and in1985 was bestowed The Governor's Award in Support of the Arts for Distinguished Personal Service, signed by then Governor Anthony Earl.
