He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Pautler; his brother Tom Gross (Diane); his sisters-in-law, Denise (Paul) and Joyce (Duane); his sibling's children, Timothy Zinselmeier (Janelle), Neil Gross and Tracey Reinhardt (Brett); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ambrose, Brooks, William "Cash", Rhys Zinselmeier, Shelby Reinhardt and Magdalina Zinselmeier; and his aunts, Mildred Gross and Melba Hornung Cedar Hill.
He was one of the founding members of the St. Clement's Community Foundation and served as Treasurer.
