He was predeceased by: his parents, William Koester and Ella Koester; and his wife Mary Haase. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Koester (Lisa), Nathan (Jodi), Angela (Troy) and Aaron Koester (Carrie); his grandchildren, Tyler Koester (Cerenity), Alicia Koester, Jordan Koester (Emilee), Katie Koester, Cason Birch, Ella Birch, Brayden Koester, Grace Koester, Blake Koester and Jase Koester; and his great grandchild Silas Koester.
