He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Deal and Edna Deal; and his father-in-law Melvin Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Alisha Landy (Darrell), Kimberly Weston (Andrew) and Matthew Deal; his grandchildren, Jessa, Michael, Levi, Landon Weston, Ariana, Ricky, Amari Artis and Anahi Guzman; his great grandchildren, Arion, Arias Hasan, Zenyx and Eliani Santiago; his siblings, G. Richard Deal (Deborah) and Diana Myhre (late John); and his mother-in-law Marjorie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bethel Bible Church (3225 W 96th St, Evergreen Park, IL 60805). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
