He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Marks and Lillian Marks; his wife Eleanor Marks; and his friend Richard Maul. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Marks (Janet) and Craig Marks (Donna); his sister Jeanne McDonald; his grandchildren, Jessica Kaapke (Daniel), Kurt Marks (Dana), Elyse Acker (Sean), Nichole Castillo and Connor Marks; and his great grandchildren, Elena Kaapke, Jake Acker, Madison Acker, Brooke Acker and Hunter Marks.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kosary Funeral Home (9837 S Kedzie Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Mt. Greenwood Cemetery (2900 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655).
