He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Bishop and Thomas Bishop; and his sisters, Mary and Angela Rose. He is survived by: his significant other Carol Kaminski; his nephews, Martin and Robert Rose; and his niece Catherine Rose. He is also survived by family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home (5570 W 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A prayer will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Most Holy Redeemer Church (9525 Lawndale Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805).
