He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kathy Hylka (late John), Nick (Contina), Michael (late Sheri), Mary and Jenny; his pet Macy; and his grandchildren, Christopher Powell, Nicholas Hylka, Mathew Hylka, Kyle VanCleave, Stephanie Findysz (Ted), Hannah Black (Ethan), Steven and Jacob. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Kosary Funeral Home (9837 S Kedzie Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Alexander Catholic Church (7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463).
