He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray McMinn and Margaret McMinn (Brown); and his siblings-in-law, Terri McMinn and Ronnie Huston. He is survived by: his wife Diane Huston; his siblings, Ed McMinn of Lincoln, Melinda Williams (Hervel) of Pontiac, Dennis McMinn (Ann) of Chenoa, Jan Miles (Forrest) of Pontiac and Dan McMinn of Fairbury; and his pet Fritz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (100 W Maple St, Fairbury, IL 61739). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Livingston County Humane Society, Pontiac or the family of David R. McMinn.
