Destal Gumm Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Destal Gumm of Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Destal is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Destal's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dessman Gumm and Mercy Gumm (Yoak); his wife Diane Tammen; and his siblings, Delmar, Dalena, Dowen, Denzel and Dorcie.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Lind (Joseph) of Fairbury, George Campbell (Shawn) of Fairbury and Mike Gumm (Kelly) of Pontiac. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
