It is with sadness that the passing of Edwin Gene Harms (Fairbury, Illinois) is shared. Edwin, born on June 13, 1928, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mano Harms and Anna Metz Harms; and his grandson Michael Edwin Harms. He is survived by: his sons, Neal Harms (Norma), Dale Harms (Debbie) and Paul Harms; his grandchildren, Emily Arbuckle, Mark Harms (Lauren), David Harms (Chelsea) and Sarah Gassaway (Jacob); his brother Donald "Duke" Harms; and his sister-in-law Beverly Harms of Venice, FL.. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (320 S Oak St, Forrest, IL 61741).
The family suggests memorials be given to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flights or Serenity Villa, Fairbury.
