“Gary was a great friend, Dedicated Volunteer, Trusted mentor to other members of American Legion Post 5, and the VFW in Rehoboth Beach, DE. He served as Finance Officer and Adjutant at Post 5 and was a District Commander of Sussex District in Delaware. Everyone looked forward to Shrimp Nights when Gary cooked. He and I took a few road trips. We have been from Maine to Florida in his Cadillac CTS-V. We shared many laughs and good times. I pray for peace for the family. R.I.P. my friend.”
