We are sad to announce that, on October 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to George L. Steidinger of Fairbury, Illinois, born in Forrest, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Steidinger and Bertha Steidinger (Ifft); his wife Caroline Wahlster; his siblings, Ivan, Richard, Alta, Norma and Doris Steidinger; and his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Steidinger, Bertha Nyseth, Joseph Wahlster and Kermit Nyseth.
He is survived by: his children, James Steidinger (Marlene), Duane Steidinger (Debbie) and Kay (Geoff); his siblings, Vera of Fairbury, Edna of Fairbury, Alice Steidinger of Fairbury and Joseph W. Steidinger (Dorothy); and his sisters-in-law, Anna L. Steidinger of Chatsworth and Carolyn Wahlster of Tujunga, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, in Fairbury or OSF Hospice.
