He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Mitchell and Margaret Simpson Mitchell; and his sister Betty Putnam. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mitchell (Kelley Hunt) and Curt Mitchell (Sheila). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
