The passing of Jerry E. Roberts of Fairbury, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 78. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jerry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jerry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Roberts and Dorothy Roberts (Hoffman); and his brothers, Richard Roberts (Dorothy) and Charles Roberts (Carole). He is survived by: his wife Ida Ruth Stout; his daughter Karen Oest (Craig) of Fairbury; and his granddaughter Emma Oest of Chicago.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (100 W Maple St, Fairbury, IL 61739). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Chenoa Township Cemetery East Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital of St. Louis, American Lung Association, or South East Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS).
