With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Mills of Fairbury, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Mills to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Mills and Irene Mills (Ingram); his siblings, David, Theresa Mills and Janet Satterfield; and his granddaughter Tess Madilynne Mills.

He is survived by : his children, Angela Mills of Cullom, IL, Nathan Mills (Tecia) of Mahomet, IL and Matthew Mills (Shannon) of Mahomet, IL; his grandchildren, Dakota Berens (Nathan), Taylor, Chandler, Benjamin, Rory, Eli and Rosalie Mills; his siblings, Richard Mills (Rita) of Cullom, IL and Josephine Birch (Charlie) of Sedalia, MO; and his brother-in-law Darrel Satterfield of Cullom, IL. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (100 W Maple St, Fairbury, IL 61739).

Memorials in John's name may be made to the Prairielands Foundation or Livingston County Pheasants Forever.
