He was predeceased by : his parents, Loren Allen and Pauline Agnes Wiley (Eckman). He is survived by : his wife Cathy Lynne Wiley; his children, Carrie Zwicky, Andy Wiley (Tracy), Josh Wiley (Karen) and Keli (RJ); his grandchildren, Heather, Brooke, Jacey, Carter, Tristan, Laney, Mikayla and Luke; his sisters, Marlene Simeck (David), Pam Wiley (Leroy Roberts) and MaryLynn Wiley Plue; his grandson Nathan Zwicky; and his friend Bruce Darnall.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (100 W Maple St, Fairbury, IL 61739). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Galesburg Rescue Mission, a cause close to David's heart.
