It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn J. Wells of Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Payne and Mayme Payne (Hieronymus); her husband Lloyd S. Wells; and her siblings, Howard Payne, Bernadine Payne, Lois Steidinger and Shirley Payne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Veomett (Stephen) of Honolulu, Judy Wells of Fairbury and Connie Maley (Dale) of Fairbury; her sister-in-law Maxine Payne; and her grandchildren, James Veomett (Tanya), Jeffery Veomett (Heather), Jacob Maley and Stacy Pecharich (Steven). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (101 E Elm St, Fairbury, IL 61739).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Fairbury, Fairview Haven Retirement Community, or South Eastern Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS).
