She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelia Schrock and Samuel Schrock; and her husband Don Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Walter (Jay) of Fairbury, Jayne Trowitch (Don) of Fairbury, Kim Traub of Charleston and Janet Leake (Greg) of Lexington; and her grandchildren, Todd Davis (Kelly), Sarah Steidl, Matthew Trowitch (Amber), Julie Read, Andy Traub (Ashton), Jeff Traub (Valerie), Evan Leake (Erika), Ryan Leake (Maggie), Bradley Leake (Dustin Martinez), Janna Stillwell (Joey) and Ashlee Leake. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Martha's name to Fairview Haven Retirement Community or OSF Hospice.
