She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Bell and Elva Aldine Miller Bell; her siblings, Robert and Helen Chapman; her daughter Jeanne; and her husband Vernon Hartman.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Banwart (Dale) and John Hartman (Rosemary) of Fairbury; her grandchildren, Carmen Kilgus (Paul), Mark Hartman (Judy), Ryan Hartman (Lori), Grant Hartman (Amy), Janelle Stoller (Jeff), Joel Hartman (Lanae), Dana Knapp (Matt), David Banwart (Melissa), Denise Steidinger (Rodney) and Drew Banwart (Hannah); and her sisters-in-law, Joann Hartman and Betty Hibner. She is also survived by 45 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be given to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
