With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard L. Rhoda of Fairbury, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 6, 2026 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Rhoda and Kathryn Ehrhardt Rhoda; and his sisters, Arlene Lester and Rosemary Dornfeld. He is survived by: his sons, Todd Rhoda (Janni) of Chenoa, Kurt Rhoda (Kim) of Chenoa and Darin Rhoda (Larry Harper) of Colleyville, TX; his grandchildren, Austin Rhoda (Starr), Daniel Rhoda, Megan Rhoda, Nicholas Rhoda and Benjamin Rhoda; Patty Paul (Rodger).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (405 Emma St, Chenoa, IL 61726). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
