He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl J. McDonald and Dorothy J. Pate McDonald; and his son Ronald "Scott" McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Norma Sue Clark of Donald's Family Restaurant; his children, Kimberly Lopez (Brian Anderson), Jay McDonald (Renee), Kelly McDonald (Steve Rudolph) and Hoopeston (McDonald); his grandchildren, Johnathon, Liza, Jayde McDonald, Mitchell McDonald, Tara Reiners, Shay McDonald, Keegan, Konnor McDonald, Brett, Evan Bulington and Ryanna Meunier; and his sisters, Patricia Cadwell of Almont, MI and Carol Peters (Marvin). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials be directed to OSF Hospice.
