She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren French and Dorothy Spencer French; and her siblings, Kathryn Davis, Janet Armstrong, Lauren Sodeman and Greg French.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Simpsen (Eric) of Normal, IL, Kim Schade (Jeff) of Shorewood, IL, Melanie Houberg (Russell) of Belleville, IL and Phillip J. Paternoster of Collinsville, IL; and her sister Karen Armstrong (Brian). She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
