She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Johnson and Dorothy Belle Johnson (Wilson); and her siblings, Bob Johnson (Jackie) and Phyllis Beal (Darrell). She is survived by: her husband Michael James Wood of Fairfield; her son Michael Shawn Staley (Jill) of Mt. Vernon; her grandchildren, Dacoda Staley, Katelyn Staley, McKenzie Staley and Candice Staley; her siblings, Ernie Johnson (Nancy McCormick) of Providence, Terry Johnson (Mitzi) of Woodlawn, Diana Morgan of Mt. Vernon and Connie McCluskey (Martin) of Mt; and her stepchildren, Jennifer Haymer, D'Kota Wood (Linae), Ellyanna Wood, Charlie Moore and Timothy Moore (Amy).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnston Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
