She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Duke and Hannah Duke (Lacefield); her husband Bob Mitchell; her son Lowell Robert "Bobby" Mitchell; and her grandsons, Ryan James Vaughan and Scott McDannel.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Vaughan (Noel Jr.) of Fairfield, Susan Tuggle (Greg) of Fairfield and Bryan Mitchell of St Charles, MO; her daughter-in-law Rita Mitchell of Flora; and her grandchildren, Staci McDannel of St Joseph, IL, Nikki Carter (Jeremy) of Fairfield, Adam Vaughan (Melanie) of Fairfield, Holli Belva (Heath) of Fairfield, Alyssa Raber (Derek) of Evansville, IN, Paige Tuggle of Fairfield, Damon Tuggle (Hailey) of Fairfield and Brendan Mitchell (Matti) of Albion. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
