She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Bernice (Wood) and Wallace Wright Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Noel James Vaughan, Sr.; her children, Noel J. (Diana), Rodney (Dawna), Becky Marsh, Stanley (Diane), Scott (Angela), Tanya Wells (Mark), Gaylord (Angie), Brian (Amy), David (Angie) and Michelle Taylor (Brian); her sister Esther Meeks; her siblings-in-law, Richard Vaughan (Pat), Pauline Peverly and Carol Ann Vaughan; her grandchildren, Ryan James Vaughan, Logan Matthew Kreiter and Scott Michael McDannel; and her siblings, Tuffy, Edwin, Harlan Simpson and Kay Etheridge. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baptist Children's Home of Carmi or Pleasant Grove Church.
