Vernon, IL; his grandchildren, Tanner Koontz of Cape Girardeau, MO and Stevie Koontz of Nashville; and his siblings, Kennard Koontz of Fairfield, Gary Koontz (Tisha) of Carterville, IL, Betty Newby of Fairfield and Ann Green (Bobby Joe) of Eufaula, Oklahoma..
Memorials in his honor may be made to the Fairfield First Baptist Church or the Carmi Baptist Children's Home and will be accepted at the funeral home.
