He is survived by: his wife Doris Simpson (McDuffee); his children, Brian Simpson of Fairfield and Marlena Maloy (Neal) of Cisne; his grandchildren, Aaron Maloy (Anna) of Flora and Katlyn Lewis (Josh) of Cisne; his siblings, Elmer Simpson of Fairfield, Doris Roland of Longview, TX, Ellen Bass of Montgomery, IL, Norma Haegele of Fairfield, Joan Tyler of Mt. Vernon, IL and Betty Brown of McDonough, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Elmer McDuffee of Fairfield and Sandy Simpson of Mt. Vernon, IL. He is also survived by grand dog Jersey, six great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the activities department of Fairfield Senior Living and Rehabilitation and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
