He was predeceased by: his parents, William Day and Edna Day (Love). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kay Day (Templeman) of Fairfield; his children, Kerrie Bray (Art) of Bloomington, IL, Curt Day (Kathi) of Aurora, IL and Kim Ramos (Dennis) of Romeoville, IL; his grandchildren, Amy Kayla Bray (late Jason Bray), Caleb Ramos, Emily Day, Sage Ramos, Bryce Ramos and Ryan Day; and his great grandchildren, Elias Hertel, Gwennan Hertel, Desmond Hertel and Addy Hertel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, Inc. (106 NE 4th St, Fairfield, IL 62837). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
