He is survived by: his children, Kevin Johnston (Linda) of Fairfield, Chris Johnston of Fairfield, Jerry Johnston (Heidi) of Fairfield, Denise Perkins (Richard) of Fairfield and Jay Johnston (Tracy) of Bluford; and his sister Louise Dippold of Decatur, IL. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren.
