He was predeceased by : his parent Carmen; his stepfather Angel Sierra; and his siblings, Angel "Beco" Sierra, Carmelita and Elena Ortiz.
He is survived by : his wife Lois Jeanie; his children, Lupe Waldrup (Scott), Anthony Ortiz, Jr., Theresa Merritt (Charles) and Tina Smith (Kenny); and his siblings, Frankie Ortiz (Rosemary) and Mary Lou Barron. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
