He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robertson Jr. and Lou V. Robertson; and his mother-in-law JoAnn Hahn. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Malia and Ty; his sisters, Pamela Robertson, Brenda Robertson and Johnnie Crossland (Byron); his father-in-law Marvin Hahn; and his sisters-in-law, Tina O'Brien (Chris Hubble) and Cathy Roller (Joel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his honor may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.
