It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Eugene Treece (Fairview Heights, Illinois), who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Treece and Sula Treece (Sinks); and his mother-in-law Bonnie (Perrott). He is survived by: his children, James Kesler (Jana) of Wilmington, NC and Diana Zahner (Steve) of Perryville, MO.; his grandchildren, Jason Kesler (Erica) of Carolina Beach, NC, Jessica Carlson (Alex) of Hillsborough, NC, Lindsay Zahner (Andrew Bergstrom) of Seattle, WA, Lauren Beckerman (David) of Asheville, NC, Emma Zahner (Colton Carney) of Kansas City, MO and Jerome Zahner (Kyleigh Montgomery) of Imperial, MO.; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Aubrey Kesler, Clara, Nicholas Carlson, Leo and Beau Beckerman.
After his retirement, he enjoyed making clocks for family and friends, and played golf with a senior league in Belleville, IL until he was 95 years old and COVID hit.
