She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Moore and Lamar Moore; and her son Anthony Don Cato. She is survived by: her husband Donald Cato; her children, Tyson Cato (Elizabeth) of Troy, IL and Ashley Kerkemeyer (Kyle) of Meridian, ID; her granddaughters, Lillie and Lennon Kerkemeyer; and her brothers, Bruce Moore (Karen) and Mark Moore (Kimberly). She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake View Memorial Gardens (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Mid-America Transplant or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
