He was predeceased by: his wife Alma "Joan" Braun; his son Timothy Braun; his father George (Bertha); his siblings, Robert, Frederick, Frank Braun, Albertha Braun, Lucille Cory, Luella Merchut and Fern Bull; and his granddaughter Angel Braun.
He is survived by: his son Thomas Braun (Angie Schroen) of Swansea, IL; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Braun of Winston; his grandchildren, Konrad and Olivia Braun of Winston; and his sister-in-law Emily Braun.
