He is survived by: his girlfriend Debra Wright of Fairview Heights; his children, John Schildknecht, Jr. (Sara) of O'Fallon, Kari Wanzer (Jason) of Germantown, TN and Bret Schildknecht (Ivette Medina) of O'Fallon; his grandchildren, Jake, Ryan Schildknecht, Ethan and Sydney Wanzer; his sister Lynn Stroh (Bob); and his nephew Rob Stroh (Maureen).
