He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Greten; his parents, Anton and Theresa; his granddaughter Sonja Tarvin; his stepgreat-grandson Bentley Tarvin; his siblings, Marie Behrman, Josephine Schmiersahl, Rita Pour, Joseph, Anthony, Leo, Urban and Gilbert; and his son-in-law David Tarvin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Allan (Jonathan) of Rochester, MN and Brenda Tarvin of Fairview Heights, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Michael (Melinda), Ben (Jena) and Kathy (Eric); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brianna, Gabriel, Raylee, Octavia and Aniya; his brother Jerome Greten (Pat) of Marissa, IL; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Greten of St. Libory, IL.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
