He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Wildermuth; his children, Michele Sturm (Karl), Robert "Bob" Wildermuth, Jr. and Jerry Wildermuth (Stacy); his grandchildren, Danielle Wildermuth, Britany Borkowski (Brad), Anna Wildermuth (Andrew Goedelman), John Wildermuth (Leanne) and Matthew Wildermuth; his great grandchild Isabella Wildermuth; his pet Doug; and his close friend Carolyn Gray (Bob). He is also survived by nephews and family friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kassly Mortuary, Ltd. (9900 St Clair Ave, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kassly Mortuary Ltd. (9900 St Clair Ave, Fairview Heights, IL 62208).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Gateway Pet Guardians or to Camp I Am Me, an organization for young burn survivors, organized by the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance.
