We announce the death of Simon Hladyshewsky (Fairview Heights, Illinois), who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 90. Simon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kazimera Hladyshewsky (Linkevicius) and Dimytro Hladyshewsky. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, James (Tami) and Jenita; his grandchildren, Jordan (Alleah), Joshua, Jacob, Madi, Morgan and Molly; and his great grandchild Isabella.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Urban Programs or Karla Smith Behavioral Health.
