He is survived by: his wife Zoeann; his sons, Christopher Gurley (Erika) of St. Louis, MO and Matthew Gurley of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Megan Gurley, Heather Gurley, Myles Gurley, Kathryn Gurley and Maximillian Gurley (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Owen Gurley and Theo Gurley; his siblings, Michael Gurley (Suzanne) of Bradenton, FL and Susan Findlay (Rick) of Minneapolis, MN; and his mother-in-law Anastasia McDowell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kassly Mortuary (9900 St Clair Ave, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
